My previous story was about “seeing music” and the first time I sang in a ceremony (here you can find all my new stories). A very magical event happened during the next ceremony, a little snake started to show me how to sing. I promised unusual and crazy-sounding stories; here is one.
In the next ceremony, I got excited to start singing along now that I knew the basic rules and that the Indigenous wanted us to sing. I was a bit uncomfortable as I knew I was not singing well, but I wasn’t singing very high, so I kept going. I saw the colors instantly coming out of my mouth.
