"Know yourself" - meeting a Rinpoche
A few weeks ago I spent about an hour with a Buddhist master, Choeze Kuchen Rinpoche thanks to my friend Anton Bilton and his passion bringing spiritual leaders and consciousness seekers and experts together.
The number of Synchronicities that happened tells me that I absolutely need to work closely with him in the future. While I met with him but we never talked about the buddhist “God of Death” that I wrote about. Someone “randomly” told me at a dinner at one of Anton’s events about Yamantaka and I started studying it and listening to its mantra without making any connection to my meeting with Choeze Kuchen. I will learn the mantra as I so deeply connected with it, it has been on my mind since I heard it. As I am writing about Choeze Kuchen, I took some time to read his bio and it says that “he is regarded as the manifestation of Yamantaka”. That’s one of the most powerful synchronicities I have ever had.
One simple thing I was reminded by the Rinpoche: “Know Yourself”
I asked, what is your most important teaching? He said “Know yourself first”. He also suggested I spent a few months there.
I am very tempted and might end-up doing that in the future but I am just back from 3 months in the jungle working on the Muka dieta. I still have 6 months to go to finish my one year commitment with myself to respect all its rules no matter how hard it feels (I got used to the restrictions, it became easy after 6 months in it).
If there is one thing I learned in the jungle is that I could be my own master, as we all can. In the last 10 years I have done so much consciousness and spiritual work (vipassana and daily meditation practice, years of therapy, full Yawanawà indigenous 3-year training, vision quest and sundance and many others…) that I decided to come back in the world and work again.
My “new job” - sharing what I learned about transformation and consciousness, bringing the best speakers at our events
I feel it’s important for me to share what I learned, that’s “my new work”.
conferences (PAWA is first of a series)
our discord community (last 24h to join after this we will close it for a while again)
a weekly zoom call every Tuesday at 18h CET (zoom link)
I’m adding today a second weekly zoom call every Thursday at 18h CET for paid subscribers
Know yourself first.
That’s easy to say as we all think we know ourselves. We are all wearing many masks accumulated since we were born, my focus is now to remove all the masks.
I want to do it here in the world though, not isolated in the jungle or a buddhist monastery.
I cannot talk about monasteries but the jungle I can, a little bit. While the isolation was difficult, it was easy in many ways compared to “the city”. No interaction with anyone, no emails, no whatsapp created a feeling of being in my mothers’ womb again, protected from everything.
Practicing consciousness in the world is much harder, I just experimented it building a conference in 8 weeks with Magdalena, our team (special thanks to Raqueli and her incredible work) and the volunteers from our community.
I was thinking it would be good to have a guide from the western world that can remind me how to do that so I manifested it.
I am participating to a fascinating series of intimate zoom calls with some kind of hidden Oracle. He is nowhere online. He works with a small group of people that are only introduced to him meeting certain criteria. I found his teachings immensely valuable and was told by his assistant that “by design, his name or work is nowhere to be found, only those who know know”. His first name is Greg.
I have had this bug of sharing online since the Internet started, I always want to share to everyone. The work we are doing as a group with Greg sounds so valuable and interesting that I obviously want to share some of it on this newsletter. I asked Greg for permission and he agreed, so I will, in a conscious and respectful way.
I am conscious that I am now writing here to 15k subscribers and some of you don’t want to receive too many emails from me so I will from now on write one or two posts a week emailing you all and will post the rest for paid subscribers only.
Please upgrade to paid subscription if you are interested to receive more frequent posts. I will also do a weekly zoom call every Thursday 18h CET from now on with paid subscribers only.
The revenue goes straight to PAWA to help us support the community and do better events. Thank you!
