New Seesmic Features: Search and Improved Threaded Player
We have just launched Search from Seesmic.com, now you can type any word below the public timeline and it will search all the public videos that have that word in the title or the description.
example you can search for "Nike" and see what is said about the brand:
You can also use the OR parameter and type for example "Nike OR running" it brings you all the corresponding videos:
It is a first version and we will enhance it soon with bookmarking a query, more parameters like "AND" and other cool options.
We also updated our threaded Seesmic player that lets you embed a video into any web page, blog or social software. It is becoming a mini Seesmic application on its own as it could already:
-show an entire conversation
-reply and record a video straight from the site or the blog where it is posted
-signup a new user
-flag a video as inappropriate
-see the user profile of the author of the video
-add that user as a friend on Seesmic
Today we added even more features:
-start a new conversation straight from where you are without having to leave the site
-reply to any video in private and not only in public
-post to twitter the link from your reply
