Startup day 3 - dinner with the Scoble family

and here is the unedited version of Robert Scoble on the future of TV if you want to learn more (about 10 minutes)... Merci Robert and Maryam for such a great evening !

Loïc, absolutly fabulous. I really love your startup videos. I think you have a great idea with your "video 2.0". I`m very anxious to see more about it. Best reguards from Cologne (Germany).

Löic,

Brilliant idea. Your start-up play-by-play is almost as good as watching a play-by-play at "Le Chandelle"!

Bon chance!

I always wondered why Frenchies like white shirts. Anyway are you going to employ Robert, in his company, Loic?

Loic, what kind of US visa you have?

2 quick questions to Loïc:

. can you share with us your thoughts about http://leweb2zero.tv/ (if any)

. what about video stuff if no information retrieval tools on the horizon?

Thx!

okay so is this going to be another take on an already successful application ...grrrr

flickr came first then zooomr came along, but this means I need to move all my photos and convince my contacts to move to zooomr too

twitter came first then pownce came along, but this means I need to move all my twits and convince my contacts to move to pownce too

kyte came first then your app comes along, but this means I need to move all my videos to your application and convince all my contacts to move too.

This is getting a real pain ! Why cant we just accept a winner and get behind it !

Will be interested to see how your application differs itself from an exsisting successful model in kyte !

monkeyleader: you are making a false assumption: that Loic is building something separate from Twitter. When you see it you'll smile.

Really nice style in your video intros and outros.

I have a similar idea of tagging and linking short segments within video that can be mashed up which I worked on a bit last year. Hope to come back to it and finish it later.

About

Welcome to my blog. Based in San Francisco, I am an entrepreneur and a blogger. I just started my fifth startup, Seesmic, a community driven video social software. Here is what TechCrunch says about it.

I am blogging every day a video on loic.tv about (almost) everything I do as I start Seesmic, I also constantly post short thoughts to twitter and often my pictures on Flickr.

I also organize every year in Paris the conference LeWeb3 that gathers more than a thousand bloggers and entrepreneurs from 40 countries on Dec 11 and 12.

If you would like to learn more, here is a bio, my LinkedIn profile, my wikipedia pages in english and french. Sometimes they are subject to changes that do not always reflect what I consider the truth but that is the principle.

You may also want to subscribe to my RSS feeds in English, French or my video podcast feed.
