Will you be able to stop yourself going to LeWeb3 in 2007 ?

Completely forgot to blog (I just twitted it) that Sam and myself kissed each other (so to say) in London last week and a few readers (Ivan, Conor, Amanda) of Sam's blog say they "won't be able to stop themselves from going". I love this thought and promise I will organize another large controversy prepare it much better and don't go crazy as last time. Next on your screens: kissing Nicole Simon (I hope) who will finally realize (I hope even more) I was not trying to "betray 1000 bloggers for my own political ambitions". Hint: I am already working on my next venture, even though Nicolas Sarkozy made the first round of the elections... By the way did you notice François Bayrou's score ?

I really enjoyed Le Web 2.0. Let us know as soon as possible when your next event is taking place. I'd love to attend.

Loic,

I've posted my thoughts to this in depth on my blog, but to summarise

---
Loic Le Meur asks ‘Will you be able to stop yourself going to LeWeb3 in 2007?‘ I think the question needs spun round to read something like this; ‘How can I, Loic Le Meur, convince you to come to LeWeb in 2007.’

I have three things that would need to be addressed by Le Meur before I could consider costing out another French trip.

1. A Programming Committe...
2. Deliver What You Promise...
3. Much better infrastructre on the ground...

Bayrou was pretty good I thought at LeWeb3 - I didn't mind listening to him and thought that sitting down and at least having a chat with us was along the right lines. The same goes for Peres who was, I found, more interesting and stimulating thought-wise than I thought he might have been in a new tech conference.

If there's any space to talk about how social media and gaming are changing the landscape of (some of) our schools I'd love to participate. Any chance, do you think?

Thanks Loic - a lot can be forgiven in the passage of time. And Paris was great fun. I'd like to see more audience involvement, more dynamic presenters, more new things. But hey, it will be the attendees who make it. We'll be there.

About

Welcome to my blog. Based in San Francisco, I am an entrepreneur and a blogger. I just started my fifth startup, Seesmic, a community driven video social software. Here is what TechCrunch says about it.

I am blogging every day a video on loic.tv about (almost) everything I do as I start Seesmic, I also constantly post short thoughts to twitter and often my pictures on Flickr.

I also organize every year in Paris the conference LeWeb3 that gathers more than a thousand bloggers and entrepreneurs from 40 countries on Dec 11 and 12.

If you would like to learn more, here is a bio, my LinkedIn profile, my wikipedia pages in english and french. Sometimes they are subject to changes that do not always reflect what I consider the truth but that is the principle.

You may also want to subscribe to my RSS feeds in English, French or my video podcast feed.
