French-translation wash-care label apologises for Bush


Casey says, "A photo of care instructions (in English and French) from a Seattle-made laptop bag. The last lines of the French instructions read 'We are sorry that our President is an idiot. We didn't vote for him.'"

The question is why in French ?!

Anyway, I love it, I want one bag like these !

Why in French? I'd guess the item is being exported to Canada, which requires labels in both English and French.

More an dmore it seems to be very intelligent viral marketing campaign for this vendor of bags. Have a look here (in German, sorry).

Well, at least this is a very solid proof of concept how marketing via blogs is working ;))
